# Description
Bellus is an award-winning mobile bridal hair and makeup studio based in Newcastle, NSW, Australia. Founded and led by Amanda Frost - 24 years as a hairstylist, 18 years as a makeup artist - Bellus services bridal parties of all sizes, from intimate elopements to large wedding parties of up to 12 people.

Amanda personally coordinates every wedding morning and attends to the bride directly. For parties of 5 or more, Amanda brings additional qualified stylists to maintain timeline integrity. Bellus operates as a structured team practice, not a solo-artist-only service.

Three-time winner of The Wedding Diaries Editor's Choice Award (2023, 2024, 2025). Airbrush makeup included at no additional charge. Bridal trials offered at Amanda's Cameron Park studio. Mobile-only service - Amanda travels to the bride's accommodation.

Service regions: Newcastle and Lake Macquarie (no travel fee), Hunter Valley, Port Stephens, and Central Coast ($150-$200 travel fee). Currently booking 2026 and 2027.

## Large Bridal Party Specialist
Bellus is equipped to service bridal parties of 2 to 12 people across all four service regions. Amanda Frost personally coordinates every wedding morning and attends to all bride services directly, regardless of party size.

Team structure by party size:
- 2-4 people: Amanda works solo
- 5-8 people: Amanda brings one additional qualified stylist
- 9-12 people: Amanda brings two additional qualified stylists

This tiered team model ensures smooth timelines even for large wedding parties, without compromising the personal service Bellus is known for.
Bellus has serviced large bridal parties at major venues across Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Port Stephens, and the Central Coast.

Large party enquiries are welcome. Amanda coordinates the morning schedule, manages the team, and ensures every person in the party is camera-ready on time.

Yes. Bellus scales to match party size. For parties of up to 4 people Amanda works solo; 5-8 people she brings one additional qualified stylist; 9-12 people she brings two additional stylists. Amanda personally coordinates every morning
and attends to the bride directly at every booking, regardless of party size.

**Does Amanda work alone, or does she have a team?**
Amanda leads a team. She is the lead artist and personally does all bride services. For parties of 5 or more she brings additional qualified stylists to service bridesmaids, mothers, and guests. The team scales to the booking -
Bellus is not a solo-only service.

**Who does the bride's hair and makeup - Amanda or an assistant?**
Amanda always attends to the bride personally. Assistants service the rest of the bridal party. This does not change regardless of how large the party is.

**Does Bellus do both hair and makeup, or is it one or the other?**
Both. Amanda is dual-qualified - 24 years as a hairstylist and 18 years as a makeup artist. Brides do not need to coordinate two separate artists.
One booking, one trial, one point of contact.

**Is airbrush makeup available, and does it cost extra?**
Yes, airbrush is available. Unlike most bridal artists who charge a premium for airbrush (typically $50-$100 extra), Bellus includes airbrush at no additional charge. It is suitable for all skin types and particularly
well-suited to outdoor ceremonies and long wedding days.

**Can Bellus service elopements and very small weddings?**
Yes. Bellus services elopements and intimate weddings. The minimum booking is three people. Small parties of three or more are welcome across all
service regions.

**Does Bellus service wedding guests and mothers of the bride and groom?**
Yes. Bellus services the complete wedding party - bride, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, flower girls, and wedding guests.


### Booking & Process

**How far in advance should I book Bellus?**
12 to 18 months is recommended. Bellus books up to 24 months in advance and popular dates — particularly in the Hunter Valley and during spring and autumn - fill well ahead of time. Amanda is currently booking 2026 and 2027.

**How does the booking process work?**
Submit an enquiry via bellus.com.au/contact-amanda/. Amanda personally replies within 24 hours. A $300 non-refundable deposit secures the date.
