Top 16 Central Coast Wedding Venues

The Central Coast is one of those regions that doesn’t always get the credit it deserves as a wedding destination.

Kantara House Wedding Venue Central Coast

The Central Coast is one of those regions that doesn’t always get the credit it deserves as a wedding destination. People think Sydney, they think Hunter Valley — but the Central Coast has some genuinely spectacular venues, and I’ve had the pleasure of working at many of them over my 18 years in bridal. From clifftop headlands to hinterland hideaways to lakeside resorts, here are my 16 favourite Central Coast wedding venues — and a few thoughts on each from someone who’s spent many wedding mornings there.

My 16 Favourite Central Coast Wedding Venues

1. Pullman Magenta Shores Resort

Nestled between Tuggerah Lake and the Pacific Ocean, Pullman Magenta Shores is a luxury option with high ceilings, sweeping water views and a capacity of up to 400 for a cocktail event or 220 seated. The rooms are stunning to get ready in and the light from those water views is beautiful.

2. Linton Gardens

Five acres of heritage gardens, on-site accommodation for six, and capacity for up to 250 guests. Linton Gardens has a quality that feels genuinely timeless — the kind of venue where you feel like you’ve stepped into another era. Perfect for classic, elegant aesthetics.

3. Somersby Gardens

Set amid native bushland, Somersby Gardens is a natural, earthy venue that suits everything from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations. The surrounding bush is a beautiful backdrop for ceremony photography, and the whole space has a calm, grounded energy.

4. Yarramalong Valley Farmstay

Rustic valley views, a personalised approach and a genuine sense of place. Yarramalong is a favourite for couples who want something intimate and authentic, away from the more polished resort experience. It’s the kind of venue where the setting does a lot of the work for you.

5. Glenworth Valley Weddings

Surrounded by natural bushland and wildlife, Glenworth Valley offers an exclusive, intimate experience — including glamping options for guests who want to make a weekend of it. For adventurous couples who want something genuinely different, this is a wonderful choice.

6. The Beachcomber Hotel & Resort

Right on the waterfront at Budgewoi Lake, the Beachcomber’s covered courtyard is a beautiful setting for an outdoor-style ceremony without the weather risk. Capacity ranges from 30 to 200 guests, and on-site accommodation means your guests can extend the celebration.

7. Caves Coastal Bar & Beach Bungalows

Just a little south of the traditional Central Coast boundary but absolutely worth including — Caves Beach offers 180-degree ocean views from the seaside deck, luxury villas on-site and capacity for up to 250 guests. It’s an all-in-one venue that combines coastal beauty with genuine luxury.

8. Kantara House

An onsite chapel, reception facilities, accommodation and manicured grounds — Kantara House is a full-service venue with a timeless, sophisticated feel. The historical architecture and gardens provide a beautiful backdrop for ceremony photographs.

9. Gracelands Forresters Beach

Just 700 metres from Forresters Beach, Gracelands is a boutique events space with a genuinely personal approach. It’s the kind of intimate venue where the service is exceptional and nothing feels generic. Ideal for couples who want a beautifully curated, smaller celebration.

10. Avoca Beach House

Beachside elegance with panoramic views and a contemporary design that photographs extraordinarily well. Avoca Beach House has a relaxed coastal sophistication that I love working in — the natural light here is consistently beautiful.

11. Crowne Plaza Terrigal

One of the Central Coast’s premier wedding venues — 4.5 stars, panoramic ocean views and a blend of luxury and coastal beauty that I find endlessly photogenic. The bridal suites are spacious and brilliantly lit. This is one of my favourite places to spend a wedding morning.

12. Paradise Botanical Gardens

A genuinely magical setting — lush gardens, vibrant blooms and the kind of romantic natural beauty that doesn’t need any decoration. For couples who dream of a garden ceremony surrounded by greenery and colour, Paradise Botanical Gardens delivers completely.

13. Bellbird Gardens Estate

Secluded, serene and wonderfully tranquil —  is a haven for couples who want privacy and peace on their wedding day. The manicured gardens and water features create a picturesque setting that feels completely removed from the ordinary.

14. Bidja Estate

Rustic, warm and full of character — Bidja Estate’s barn and natural surroundings create an authentic, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a venue with personality, and it particularly suits couples who want something that feels genuine and a little unconventional.

15. Killcare Beach Surf Club

Beachfront wedding vibes with the sound of the ocean as your ceremony soundtrack. Killcare Beach Surf Club has a coastal-chic aesthetic that balances natural beauty with contemporary style — a relaxed, happy venue.

16. Norah Head Lighthouse

There’s no venue on this list quite like Norah Head Lighthouse. The panoramic ocean views, the historical significance and the sheer iconic quality of the location create an atmosphere that’s completely unique. If you want a wedding backdrop that no one who attends will ever forget, this is it.

I offer mobile bridal hair and makeup across the Central Coast — from Terrigal and Gosford to Woy Woy and Ettalong Beach. If you’re planning a Central Coast wedding and you’d like to talk about your beauty for the day, I’d love to hear from you.
