The rotunda at the Apollo is semi-sheltered by the surrounding bushland, which is genuinely helpful — it gives you a slightly broader range of options than a fully exposed outdoor venue. Structured upstyles, soft pinned waves, braided elements, and half-up styles all look beautiful in the garden setting and hold well throughout the day. Because the exposure is more moderate here, certain looser romantic styles can also work beautifully — it's something we'll work through at your trial once I understand your hair type and your vision.

It's actually one of its greatest strengths — airbrush handles the transition between different lighting environments beautifully. It looks effortlessly natural in the garden light during the outdoor rotunda ceremony, and then moves into the reception room without looking heavy or flat under interior lighting. The micro-fine application means it sits on the skin rather than on top of it, so it stays comfortable, breathable, and photograph-ready all day. It's included in my bridal service at no extra charge.

Yes — I look after the bride, bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, and flower girls. For larger parties, I bring a talented additional stylist to assist so that everyone is finished beautifully and on time. When you get in touch, just let me know your full party count and I'll put together a morning schedule that works for the size of your group and your ceremony start time.

Six to eight weeks before the wedding is my recommended window. Your trial is done at my Cameron Park studio and typically takes around two and a half to three hours — we'll go through your full look, including hair, makeup (with the airbrush finish), and headpiece placement if applicable. Knowing that your venue has a leafy garden rotunda ceremony often shapes the trial conversation nicely — there's a softness to that setting that we can deliberately lean into when designing your look.

Absolutely — getting ready on-site is one of the great advantages of a hotel venue like the Apollo. The suites are spacious enough for a bridal party to get ready comfortably, and I'll set up everything I need within your room. I just need a well-lit area with access to power and a flat surface to work from — hotel rooms typically provide that very easily. Staying on-site the night before also means no one is rushing across town on the morning, which I always think makes for the best start to the day.
