Wedding Hair & Makeup Artist Since 2007
I’m Amanda Frost, and I’ve been creating bridal hair and makeup looks for brides across the Hunter Valley and Newcastle since 2007 — a hairdresser turned makeup artist who has spent the last 18 years helping brides in Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Port Stephens and the Central Coast look and feel extraordinary on their wedding day.
I’ve been a hairstylist for 24 years and a makeup artist for 18 — and in 2007 I decided to stop splitting my focus and build something of my own. Bellus was born from a simple idea: one artist, both services, coming directly to you. Leaving the salon meant freedom — the freedom to work entirely within the bridal world, to travel to the venues I love, and to give every bride the kind of unhurried, undivided attention that a busy salon floor simply can’t offer.
My signature is glowing, natural skin and effortless hair that photographs beautifully and stays perfect from morning prep to the last dance. I come to you — no salon visits, no rushing across town on your wedding morning.

Wedding dates in the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Port Stephens and the Central Coast fill quickly — particularly spring and autumn Saturdays, which can book out twelve to eighteen months ahead. I take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure every bride gets my full attention, so if you have a date in mind, the best thing you can do is reach out early. A $300 deposit secures your date and gives you complete peace of mind.
