The Services

Hair, Makeup, or Both

For guest appointments I offer the same services as my bridal bookings — hair styling, makeup application, or both together. There’s no pared-back version for guests. You get the same quality, the same products, and the same attention.

Guest bookings do require a minimum of three people needing hair and makeup services. This is the same threshold as any wedding day call-out — it’s what makes the travel and the day viable for everyone. If your group is three or more, you’re absolutely good to enquire. Mothers of the bride and groom, grandmothers, sisters, close friends — any combination works, with or without the bridal party being involved.

Hair styling for guests follows the same principle as bridal hair — we’ll talk through the look you want, consider your outfit and the formality of the occasion, and create something that suits you and holds all day.

Makeup for guests uses the same approach I take with every face — skin-first, enhancing rather than masking, with a finish that looks beautiful in person and in photographs. Airbrush is available for guest bookings too.

A Special Note

Mothers of the Bride & Groom

Mothers of the bride and mothers of the groom are among my favourite people to work with. They often have the most riding on looking right — they’re in every photograph, they’re greeting every guest, and they want to look like themselves at their very best, not like someone else entirely.

My approach with mothers is to listen carefully. Some want a very natural result. Some want more than they’d normally wear. Most want something in between — beautiful, appropriate, and not overdone. I take that brief seriously.

I can include the mother of the bride or groom in the wedding morning schedule alongside the bridal party, or arrange a separate appointment at a time and location that works for them. Either way, they’re in good hands.

Can I book hair and makeup as a wedding guest, not part of the bridal party?

Yes — guest bookings are available independently of any bridal party booking. You don’t need to be part of the wedding party to book with me. Get in touch with your date, location and what you’re after and I’ll let you know if I have availability.

Do you travel to my hotel or home for a guest appointment?

Yes. I travel to hotels, private residences and venues across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter Valley, Port Stephens and the Central Coast. Tell me where you’ll be getting ready and I’ll confirm whether I can come to you.

Can the mother of the bride be included in the wedding morning schedule?

Absolutely — and this is very common. I'll factor the Mother of the bride into the morning run sheet alongside the rest of the party. Alternatively, if she prefers a separate appointment earlier in the morning or at a different location, we can arrange that too.

How long does a guest appointment take?

For hair and makeup together, allow approximately 90 minutes. For hair or makeup alone, allow 45–60 minutes. I’ll confirm timing when we discuss your booking.

What is the cost for guest hair and makeup?

Pricing is consistent with my standard rates — $250–$300 per person depending on the service. Get in touch for a specific quote based on what you’d like.
