Amanda Frost carries the full kit inside and works in whichever room holds the harbour light best, so the bridal party never has to cross the bridge for a salon appointment. How much does hair and makeup cost for a Carrington wedding?

For a Carrington wedding the bride is $320, which is $160 for hair and $160 for makeup. Bridesmaids are $150 per service, mothers of the bride and groom are $130 for makeup, and flower girls start at $60. There is no travel fee to Carrington, though the heritage streets are tight, so it is worth thinking about where I can park. Trials are $150 each and a $300 deposit secures the date.

I have a large bridal party, how many people can you cater for?

For bridal parties up to 4 I will carry out all services myself. For larger parties I bring other talented stylists. Bellus has looked after parties up to 14 people.

Can you do vintage or heritage-inspired hair styles?

Absolutely, vintage and heritage-inspired styles are something I particularly love. Carrington's character makes them a natural fit. We can explore options at your trial and find a look that feels right for the venue and your dress.

How far in advance do I need to book?

For popular dates, Saturdays in spring and autumn especially, I recommend enquiring 12 to 18 months ahead. Other dates often have more flexibility. The sooner you enquire, the better.
